This week the theme is combat: four games where the grind sits between you and the part that’s actually fun. Instant kills, god mode, damage and speed multipliers — the cheats that turn a twenty-hour progression curve into an afternoon.

Mortal Kombat

The mobile Mortal Kombat is built around towers you’re expected to grind — or pay to skip. This build removes the choice entirely: instant kill on individual enemy characters, easy one-hit KO, and force swap to pull an opponent out mid-fight.

The two that change how you actually play are resurrect and heal all players and the swap hack with no timer — normally a downed fighter is gone for the rest of the tower and swaps are on cooldown. Without either restriction, tower runs stop being a resource-management puzzle and go back to being a fighting game.

Shadow Fight 2

Shadow Fight 2’s whole economy is built to slow you down: gear costs gold, gold comes from fights, and the fights get harder faster than your gear improves. This build hands you unlimited gold and gems plus max level unlocked, so equipment stops being the gate.

On top of that: never die in battle and a long-range attack advantage. The practical effect is that you can finally experiment — try builds and weapon combinations you’d never have risked when a loss meant grinding the gold back.

Invincible: Guarding the Globe

The tie-in to the animated series is a squad RPG with the usual energy timers and boss walls. The mod adds a damage multiplier and never die / god mode, which between them remove the two things that stall progress: bosses that outscale your team, and runs that end because one character dropped.

Boosted XP rates mean the roster catches up as well — you’re not stuck replaying early chapters to level a character you just unlocked.

Brotato

Brotato is a roguelite arena shooter — short runs, brutal difficulty spikes, and a shop you can rarely afford what you want from. This build gives you a damage multiplier, move speed multiplier, god mode, and free in-app purchases, which in a roguelite mostly means one thing: you get to see the builds.

The joy of the genre is stacking weapons into something absurd. Normally you die three waves before that happens. Here you don’t.

Installing on iPhone

None of these are on the App Store — modified builds never are. From builds.io it’s one tap:

Worth knowing

Play offline where you can. Anti-cheat on the server side is the one real risk with modded games, and it’s the game account that’s exposed, not your device. If a title has an offline or single-player mode, that’s the safer place to use these features.

One build at a time. The modded version replaces the original — iOS won’t run both side by side.

Updates come to you. When a game updates and the mod breaks, the version in the catalog gets rebuilt. That’s the difference between installing from a catalog and hunting for an IPA on a forum.
