Locket Gold, Apollo & TikTok Tweaks for iPhone
Five tweaks this week, all for apps already sitting on your Home Screen: a widget, a Reddit client, TikTok, X and a streaming hub. Each one puts back something the stock build holds just out of reach — keeping what you watch, a premium tier, or an app that an API price list killed three years ago. No subscriptions, no waiting. Locket Widget
Locket Widget is the one social app that never asks you to open it: friends’ photos land directly on your Home Screen widget the moment they are sent, you tap to shoot one back, and that is the entire loop. The extras people actually want — a widget dedicated to one person, emoji reactions, the running memory history and the monthly recap video — live in Locket Gold, the paid tier. Apollo
Apollo was the Reddit client on iOS for eight years, and it shut down on 30 June 2023 when Reddit’s new API pricing made it unsustainable — 100,000+ five-star ratings, retired in thirty days’ notice. What survived is a community tweak: JeffreyCA’s Apollo-ImprovedCustomApi, which lets you supply your own Reddit API credentials instead of the developer’s, and which was handed over and renamed Apollo-Reborn in May 2026. This build is rebuilt on the latest Apollo, so it keeps working with Reddit’s current changes. One honest caveat before you download: Reddit no longer issues new API keys, so you need credentials you already have — set the key in Apollo Settings, reopen the app and log back in.
What’s unlocked: your own Reddit API key in Settings, so the client browses again rather than sitting as a memorial — plus every legacy Apollo app icon, the Goodbye Apollo wallpaper pack, and data export by shaking the device.
R3Tok
R3Tok is a modified TikTok client built around a single job: keeping what you watch. Saving photos, videos and stickers works from inside the app, and a progress bar runs while a download does — so a large video stops looking frozen halfway through. Slideshow posts get their own handling: the stills are stitched into one video at four seconds per photo with the original sound kept underneath, which no web downloader does properly. This release is rebuilt on TikTok 46.4.0 and fixes a bug in photo downloads.
What’s unlocked: photo, video and sticker saving, a visible download progress bar, and slideshows exported as a single video with the audio intact.
BHX
BHX carries on the lineage of BHTwitter, BandarHL’s long-running tweak for the app now called X, rebuilt for current releases. It leaves the official client intact and adds the controls the timeline never shipped with: video downloads that work even on private accounts, replay for a clip you already scrolled past, frame-level video zoom, a font changer and a reader mode for long threads, plus switches that take out promoted tweets and the topic clutter. Sora 2
Sora 2 — the app formerly known as Sulfur — is a streaming front-end with no library of its own. Content arrives through community-built modules that act as providers, which you add from the module library or the app’s official Discord, and the app itself stays a clean, ad-free player built for smooth high-quality playback. That design is the point: instead of being locked to whatever one service licensed this month, you extend it. What’s unlocked: an ad-free interface with module support enabled — install your own providers, use multi-tracking and tune playback settings, with movies, shows and anime in one player.
How to install
Everything here installs straight from builds.io in a couple of taps — no Mac, no cable, no jailbreak, and the build stays signed instead of expiring the way free-certificate installs do. Worth knowing before you start: adding a new device sends it through Apple’s “processing” step. Most devices are ready within a day; some take up to three days while Apple processes them — normal, and it happens once.
