The Tower, Merge Dragons & Good Coffee Hacks

Updated Sep 7, 2026

Three games this week that all run on the same fuel: a number that goes up too slowly. A tower that needs coins to survive the next wave, a camp that needs gems to keep merging, a cafe that needs cash for the equipment that would actually speed service. Here that number stops being the thing standing between you and the game. No subscriptions, no waiting. Download any of them as an IPA and install on your iPhone in one tap — no PC and no developer account of your own.

The Tower — Idle Tower Defense

The Tower GET

Tech Tree Games’ idle tower defense, out since 2021 and past five million downloads. One tower in the middle of the screen, waves coming in from every side, and a workshop where coins buy permanent upgrades so the next run reaches further than the last. The loop is honest about what it is: you die, you spend, you push a little deeper. What it is less open about is the pace — the upgrades that make higher tiers survivable sit behind either a long grind or the shop, and the card collection and tournaments raise the ceiling again. Download The Tower IPA for iPhone and take the upgrades on your own schedule.

What’s unlocked: free in-app purchases — tap cancel when the buy prompt appears — plus the iGameGod cheat engine on iPhone and iPad, which lets you edit in-game currency and speed stages up.

Merge Dragons!

Merge Dragons! GET

Gram Games’ merge puzzle, now under Zynga — you heal a dead land by merging three of anything into one better thing: eggs, trees, stars, treasure, and the dragons themselves. Over five hundred items, six hundred quests, and a camp you keep rebuilding as the merges get deeper. The friction is the economy around it: gems drain on every convenience, and a long merge chain is exactly when you notice the balance falling.

What’s unlocked: a currency freeze — your balances stop changing while you play, so a long merge chain is not interrupted by the counter falling back down. That is the whole tweak in this build; there is no unlimited-currency option here.

Good Coffee, Great Coffee

TapBlaze’s cafe sim, and the cosy one of the three: hand-drawn pastel art, over two hundred regulars with their own orders and stories, fourteen toppings and latte art you actually draw. Behind the warmth sits a standard sim economy — decor, equipment and shop upgrades all metered, so the cafe you are picturing is several weeks of brew points away.

What’s unlocked: unlimited cash, gems, energy, brew points and daily rewards, with every decor item, piece of equipment, equipment upgrade and shop upgrade already open — plus Perfect Drink enabled, so the menu is yours from the first morning.

How to install

Every game here installs from builds.io like a normal App Store download — tap GET, install, play. No PC, and no developer account of your own to keep alive. When you add a new device, Apple runs a one-time “processing” step: most devices are ready within a day, and some take up to three days while Apple works through them. It happens once, and every install after that is instant.

Last week went faster — Sonic Dash and Bike Race, both built for short runs you repeat. For the wider shelf, browse the best iPhone games with no limits.
