What is UpNote?
In the App Store the app is named UpNote - notes, diary, journal and is developed by UpNote Company Limited, filed under Productivity and Utilities. It has been there since June 2018. The idea is a quiet writing space with a rich editor behind it, and the same notes sync across your devices and keep working offline.
The editor handles highlights, text colours, tables, nested lists, code and other formatting, so a note can be a shopping list, a diary entry or a longer document. People who write in markdown get shortcuts for it and can export notes as Markdown or PDF. A plain to-do list written in a note syncs to every device, so the app doubles as a light task manager. Organising is flexible: notes go into notebooks, important ones are pinned to the top, others are bookmarked or linked together, and a notebook can be closed to hide everything you do not need right now. A lock feature with Face ID or Touch ID keeps private pages private, which is why it appeals to people who keep a journal.

Version and requirements
The changelog adds one practical tip: if the subscription does not look active right after installation, restart the app. On the App Store the paid plan renews automatically, so the unlock here gives you the premium set without a recurring charge. The App Store version is free, needs iOS 15.6 or later and has a 4+ age rating. Its most recent note says the app was optimised for iPhone Duo, which is a minor adjustment rather than a feature change.
