What's unlocked in this update

Pattrn AI for iPhone now has the subscription unlocked, so you can close the purchase page and use the app without paying.

Pattrn is a discipline tracker with an AI coach, and you can download the Pattrn IPA for iPhone here with the subscription unlocked, so you can close the purchase page and use the app. The page covers version 3.0.3.

What is Pattrn?

The App Store name is Pattrn - Discipline Tracker, and it is made by Pedro Schott under Productivity. The pitch is that discipline is not about planning but about following through. You track routines, set goals and train focus the way you would train a muscle, and an AI coach adapts to your behaviour.

The central feature is a 60-day challenge. During it you lock in with visual streaks and goals, and daily actions can be linked to long-term targets. Two metrics measure your attention: the Focus Score you see each day and the Precision Rate. Progress is gamified to feel like an RPG, while the design stays clean on purpose, with little noise.

The AI side includes talking with a personal agent that keeps you motivated and clear on next steps. The developer aims it at people who want to stay consistent, such as creators, founders, students and sportspeople whose attention drifts quickly, and at anyone tired of productivity apps that do not help.

The interface avoids clutter on purpose: the idea is a tracker that gets out of the way, so the screens focus on streaks, goals and the score of the day.

What the Pattrn tweak unlocks

  • The subscription layer, so no paywall is in the way
  • Instant SMART goal setting and milestones for splitting goals into smaller steps
  • AI insights and personalised recommendations from your agent
  • Home and Lock Screen widgets for tracking
  • Goal Off Track notifications

Free plan and requirements

The store listing marks these items as needing an active subscription, and this build opens them. The App Store version is free, rated 4+, needs iOS 17.0 or later and first appeared in February 2025. The latest release notes mention bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

Pattrn is available on builds.io: tap the IPA and it installs on your iPhone in one go, with no PC.
