What’s unlocked in this version

Subscription unlocked in Didget: Data Usage Widget for iPhone and iOS. Download the updated IPA to access the app’s paid features without the subscription.

Few things sting like an overage charge you did not see coming, and Didget exists to prevent exactly that. Download the Didget IPA for iPhone and keep a live count of your mobile data on the Home Screen and Lock Screen, with the paid tier switched on.

What is Didget?

The App Store calls it Didget: Data Usage Widget. It is built by the independent developer Zlatko Kuvendjiski and sits in Utilities with Reference as a second genre. It has been listed since October 2023 and is rated 4+.

The idea is simple: instead of opening a carrier app, you read the numbers from widgets. They show how much you have used, how much is left in the current cycle and when it resets. Inside the app, interactive charts break usage down by day, and a handful of stats such as percent used and days remaining sit beside a pace indicator that tells you if you are on course to finish the period under your cap.

Setup is flexible. A cycle can be weekly, monthly or a custom date range of up to a year, and a slider lets you correct the count when you change plans or notice an offset. Plans can be given colours and titles so a work line is not confused with a home one. The interface supports Light and Dark mode, Liquid Glass styling, VoiceOver and Dynamic Type, and the developer says usage figures stay on the device and are not collected or shared.

What the Didget tweak unlocks

  • Premium widgets such as ring-style totals, a large Chart & Total and extra Lock Screen layouts
  • Multiple plans for home, work or roaming, with custom colours and titles
  • Location suggestions that propose a plan switch when you reach another country
  • Data rollover for carriers that carry unused data forward
  • Extra alerts at 50 percent, 100 percent and a daily limit
  • Plan reordering and a running daily-limit line on the charts

Subscription and requirements

The changelog says this build has the subscription unlocked so paid features open without paying. In the store, Premium costs 1.99 dollars monthly or 19.99 yearly after a seven-day trial. The app itself is free and wants iOS 17.6 or later. Version 4.1 moved custom billing cycles, an 80 percent alert and the small Chart & Total widget onto the free plan.

To watch your gigabytes without the paywall, get Didget on builds.io; one tap sends the IPA to your iPhone and no computer is involved.
