Zoom Earth features high-definition satellite images sourced from NOAA GOES and JMA Himawari geostationary satellites, updated every 10 to 15 minutes, providing nearly real-time views of weather systems worldwide. NASA polar-orbiting satellites Aqua and Terra enhance the experience with HD images refreshed twice daily. This extensive satellite coverage lets you watch cloud movements, storm developments, and other atmospheric phenomena with exceptional clarity.

Weather Forecast Maps

Explore beautifully designed and intuitive weather forecast maps generated from trusted data models such as the DWD ICON and NOAA/NCEP/NWS GFS. These maps visualize key weather elements including:

Wildfire Tracking

Stay informed about wildfire incidents through the active fires and heat spots overlay. This feature uses daily satellite data from NASA FIRMS to display areas with very high temperatures detected by satellite sensors. Combined with GeoColor satellite imagery, you can monitor wildfire smoke movement and assess fire weather conditions nearly in real time.
