What’s unlocked in this version

QuakeMate: Earthquake Alert now comes with Premium unlocked in this updated IPA for iPhone and iPad, giving you access to the paid features already included in the modded build.

When the ground moves, the first question is where and how strong: QuakeMate answers it on your phone, and you can download the QuakeMate IPA for iPhone as a tweak with the premium paywall removed.

What is QuakeMate?

The app is called QuakeMate: Earthquake Alert in the App Store and comes from the developer Sviatoslav Fil, filed under Weather and Reference. It has been available since March 2023. Its data comes from USGS, SeismicPortal and GSI, and on top of that sits a community layer where people report what they actually felt, so you see both the official numbers and the human experience of a shake.

The map shows live epicenters and aftershocks, with a worldwide feed of every recorded quake. You can search by city, country or region and filter by magnitude, time range and source. Every earthquake has a detail page with magnitude, depth, location, time, a tsunami flag and a PAGER impact assessment, plus an updates timeline that records what the agency changed after the first report. The app also shows tsunami bulletins issued by NTWC, PTWC and GDACS, with coastlines at risk drawn on a map, and a safety section with preparedness tips and short earthquake facts.

What the QuakeMate tweak unlocks

  • Premium unlocked, giving the paid features without a subscription
  • Real-time earthquake alerts, including notifications about quakes near you
  • A live map of epicenters and aftershocks to follow a sequence as it develops
  • Filters that narrow the feed by magnitude, area and data source
  • Premium map layers on the store page: volcanoes, tectonic plates, tsunami risk and shake-intensity heat maps

Requirements and what is new

The App Store version is free and asks for iOS 16.0 or later, with a 4+ age rating. The latest release fixed a case where the notification permission prompt could appear before onboarding was finished and leave alerts without sound. It also adds a notification check-up screen that tells you which setting to change, an explanation of critical alert sounds, and aftershock sequences, a PRO feature that draws each sequence on its own map. Tapping a tsunami pin now opens that bulletin.

Pick QuakeMate on builds.io, fetch the IPA and it installs on your iPhone with a single tap and no computer.
