About Slideshow Maker

Slideshow Maker is a photo-to-video editor by Debotosh Dey, listed in the App Store as SlideShow Maker with Music Fx under Photo & Video and Entertainment. The idea is the classic one: you collect a set of photos or selfies, arrange them in order, put music underneath, and export a little movie of the occasion.

Each step has its own controls. Photos can be reordered and given filter effects, and the duration of every picture can be set separately. Transitions and themes come in a large collection. On the audio side you can add tracks from the built-in library or from your own music collection, record a voice-over across the slideshow, and then shape the sound with trim, fade-in, fade-out and loop options plus a volume slider and a mute switch for the video.

When the movie is ready it can be sent straight to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or YouTube, or shared by e-mail.

Price in the App Store and requirements

The store edition is free to install but sells its premium tier through subscriptions: a three-day trial followed by 9.99 per month, a weekly plan at $3.99 or a yearly plan at $34.99. This build skips that payment step. The app needs iOS 15.0 or later and has been listed since 2017. Its latest notes say that HVD fonts were removed, a random crash on iOS 26 was fixed, and bugs were cleaned up.
