What is Song Infos?

The app is made by Firat Sueluenkue, listed under Music and Utilities, and it works exclusively with Apple Music and iTunes. That includes songs from Apple Music, iTunes purchases and tracks added manually. The goal is to answer questions that the built-in Music app never does: which songs you really play, which you skip, and which ones you added and never heard.

For any song, artist, album or playlist, you can open total play counts, skips and listening time. Daily charts show listening patterns over time, and a ranking of your top ten songs, albums, artists and playlists can be sorted by plays or by minutes. A song page adds the first added date, the last played moment and whether the track is explicit.

Playlist insights show which tracks dominate each list, and a Throwback view looks back at the music you had on that very date in earlier years. Sorting options cover play count, last-played date and newly added tracks. According to the developer, the data is kept in your own iCloud account and is not shared with third parties.

What the Song Infos tweak unlocks

• The subscription is unlocked, with no plan needed
• Full play counts, skips and listening time for songs and collections
• Daily charts and top lists for tracks, artists, albums and playlists
• The Throwback view of past listening history

What the newest version changed

A large App Store update redesigned albums and artists. Each album, artist and playlist now has its own statistics and charts, a rank within your library and a breakdown of plays across its songs. Playlists appear as a grid with real covers, and an Up in the rankings block on the home screen highlights what climbed this week. The player was rebuilt, and you can press and hold a chart to slide along it and read each period.

The store version is free, rated 4+, has been available since December 2020 and lists iOS 26.0 as its minimum. Song Infos is ready on builds.io: choose the IPA and it installs on your iPhone with one tap, no PC.
