What is Merge Village?

The store name is Merge Village: Story and Puzzle, and it comes from the studio SUPERBOX. Inc. It was released in September 2025 and it is filed under Games with Casual and Puzzle tags. The town in question is Sunshine Valley, and you work with the architect-designer Kate, who has to fix up worn-out buildings and revive the whole town.

The core move is simple: drag two identical items together and they fuse into a better one. The item pool is everyday and cosy, with gardening tools, coffee, bread, toys and accessories, and further merges can create even more special items. Rewards from the board are spent on the restoration side, where coins pay for redesigning and remodelling houses, shops, gardens and more.

A layer of story keeps the board from feeling empty. Residents ask for specific things, completing those requests reveals hidden stories and secrets of the valley, and missions hand out additional rewards. Seasonal events and limited themes arrive through regular updates, so the town keeps getting new material.
