About Bike Race

Bike Race: Free Style Games is developed by Wildlife Studios and filed under Games with the Action and Racing tags. It has been available in the App Store since March 2012, and the store credits it to the same makers as Racing Penguin. The rules are simple and fast: ride along tracks packed with jumps and loops, using physics to stay on the line.

Controls fit one hand. You tilt the phone to lean the bike forward or back and touch the screen to accelerate or brake. Progress comes from collecting stars, which open new levels across a dozen worlds with hundreds of tracks. You can race alone or take on friends in multiplayer.

The store text also describes a levels section with community content. Tracks built by other players can be played for free when you have the code or when they are shared publicly, but playing more than three featured levels a day requires a level pack. Levels themselves cannot be created on the phone; the editor is on the game's website. A Bike Race Plus subscription also exists, with a seven-day trial followed by a weekly fee that renews automatically until cancelled.

The appeal has lasted for a simple reason. A run takes a minute or two, the rules fit in a sentence, and the difference between a clean landing and a crash comes down to how you balance speed and rotation in the air. Each new bike changes that balance a little, which is why unlocking the whole set has real value for a player who enjoys experimenting.
