r3yt 1.0 on YouTube 21.39.4. Adds voice-over translation for videos (next to the sleep timer in the player overlay), an improved video quality menu, and fixes.

YouTube r3yt is a modified YouTube client for iPhone built on the current App Store release. Download the YouTube r3yt IPA for iOS and watch without ads or Premium upsells, keep videos playing in the background, and get playback tools the stock app does not have.

r3yt keeps the familiar YouTube interface and layers its own options on top. It also fixes videos freezing after the first minute, which happens on accounts Google has flagged, so playback keeps going. Shorts can be hidden from the home and subscriptions feeds, comments can be copied with a long press, and a sleep timer sits right on the video overlay.

What the tweak unlocks

Removes all ads and Premium purchase prompts
Background playback and Picture in Picture
Stops videos freezing after one minute on flagged accounts
SponsorBlock with the main categories on by default
Optional hiding of Shorts on the home and subscriptions screens
Copy any comment with a long press
Sleep timer and voice-over translation in the player overlay

Get YouTube r3yt on builds.io — download the IPA and install it on your iPhone in one tap, no PC required.
