What is Note AI?

Note AI is made by HUBX and listed in the App Store as Note AI: Smart Note Taker, under Productivity with Education as a second genre. It arrived in March 2025, so it belongs to the newer wave of AI note tools. The target audience is wide: managers, consultants and remote teams on one side, students sitting in lectures on the other.

The workflow has three inputs. You can record audio directly, upload an existing file, or add a video and have the speech extracted from it. The app converts the speech into text as it goes, so a transcript appears in real time instead of after the meeting. Voice memos, lectures, calls and interviews all go through the same pipeline.

Language is a major part of the pitch. Transcripts can be translated, and the store text gives translating a recording into English as a typical use, for a lecture or an important meeting in another language. The earlier page for this app mentions support for more than fifty languages. After the text is ready, the AI condenses it into a summary with key takeaways you can read before an exam or a presentation.
