What is Fotorama?

Fotorama is an AI image generator and photo editor made by Appnation, a Turkish app company. In the App Store it appears as AI Photo Generator - Fotorama, in the Photo & Video and Graphics & Design categories. You give it your own pictures, pick a style, and the AI rebuilds them as a polished result.

The headline use is the headshot: a portrait fit for a LinkedIn profile, a business page or a social account, produced without booking a photographer. Beyond that, the app works through themes. New looks rotate in, and the lineup includes seasonal effects and concept styles, so the same face can show up in a holiday card, a cinematic frame or a vintage film look.

A second pillar is motion. Fotorama can animate a still image and turn it into a short video story, which makes it more than a one-off filter app. Finished work can be pushed to other platforms straight from the screen.

The pitch to creators is speed: instead of staging a photoshoot or learning a heavy editor, you upload a picture, choose a style and let the app handle lighting, background and polish. It is aimed at anyone who needs a profile picture, a themed post or a quick promo clip.

This is the same build as in the App Store, with nothing added or removed. The store edition is free, asks for iOS 15.5 or later and has been out since August 2023. Its latest note is a short mention of technical improvements.

Want to try an AI studio on your own photos? Fotorama is available on builds.io as an IPA that installs on your iPhone in one tap, with no computer.
