About Touhou LostWord

The game is published by GOOD SMILE COMPANY, INC. and appears in the App Store under Games with a 4+ rating. It is a derivative work based on the Touhou Project, officially licensed by Team Shanghai Alice, and it first launched in May 2021. The story follows the Lost Word Incident, which has taken over Gensokyo, and your task is to explore the land and resolve it.

The cast is the main attraction. Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden, and Marisa Kirisame, the magician from the Forest of Magic, lead the way, joined by Yukari Yakumo, Alice Margatroid, Remilia Scarlet, Sakuya Izayoi and many more. Dozens of illustrators and musicians contributed art and soundtrack, and the store page lists them by name.

Battles borrow from the series itself. Characters use their Spell Cards in exciting fights full of bullets, you can power up favourites, and a party can include up to six members. Each character offers a choice of three voices and a wardrobe of costumes, so the team can be tuned to taste.

Version and requirements

The App Store version is free to download and needs iOS 13.0 or later. Its most recent notes mention party status labels on the friend list and a list of fixes, such as a Replay Rematch bug that turned on Full Auto, costume display problems, a wrong destination for some Go! buttons, a problem with Rebound Bullets and shop and profile interface issues. The changelog for this build adds only the two multipliers.
