What is Slay the Titan?

The App Store lists it as Slay the Titan : Deckbuild RPG, published by Dreamplay Games Inc. in May 2025 under Games, Strategy and Roleplaying. The developers describe it as a card RPG with dungeon-crawl elements, which means the usual collect-and-build loop is wrapped inside an adventure with a destination.

The deck is made of skill cards that belong to the characters you own. Heroes come from different occupations, among them pirates, witches, knights, rogues, slayers and crawlers, and the game says new characters with new skill cards will keep arriving through updates. Which cards you combine matters a great deal: a good pairing produces strong synergy, while a careless one can wreck the whole build.

There are three ways to play. In the single-player adventure you assemble a deck, recruit allies and head for Valhalla, opposed by seven Titans with their own traits. Multiplayer turns into a survival mode set in the Temple of Judgment, where your deck faces the decks of other adventurers and you try to last as long as you can. The Tower of Competition is a strategy playground, where you experiment with characters you do not own, receive a random character as you climb, and sometimes get one that does not fit your plan at all.
