About Spilled!

Spilled! is published by Sound Games and reached the App Store in December 2025, filed under Games. It is the work of a solo developer who goes by Lente. According to the store page, Lente began the project at the end of 2022, paused school and moved onto a small boat to cut living costs, then funded the final stretch with a Kickstarter campaign. This is the first commercial release from the project.

The loop is calm. You sail around, scoop up waste, recycle it for coins and spend those coins on upgrades so your boat can handle the next spill. You also look for cute animals that need rescuing, and the game has 16 of them hidden across the map. Eight areas make up the journey, each larger than the last, with bigger oil spills and new kinds of waste, spread across different biomes.

It is designed as a short experience of around an hour, with a level selector that lets you come back and relax whenever you like. Most of the pleasure comes from the pace, since there is no timer and no fail screen pushing you along, only the slow satisfaction of seeing a dark slick turn back into clear water.

Version and requirements

In the App Store, the first three zones can be tried for free, and the full game is opened with a single in-app purchase. This build lifts that limit according to its changelog. The game is rated 4+, needs a recent iOS 18.0 or later, and its latest notes mention bug fixes and performance improvements.
