What is Club Soccer Director 2022?

Club Soccer Director 2022 is a club management game from Go Play Games, filed in the App Store under Games, Simulation and Sports and first released in August 2021. You are not the coach: you are the director, with the job of delivering success to the owners and the board while keeping the manager, the players and the fans happy.

You can take over a real club or build your own, including the country, club name, stadium name and kit design. The database covers 820 clubs in 38 leagues across 14 countries, and a player pool above 30,000 names offers buying and loan options, each with their own stats and personalities.

Decisions spread widely. You invest in the stadium, fitness center, medical department, training ground and youth academy, negotiate sponsorships, hire and fire the management team and handle contracts and transfer talks with agents. The manager makes tactical calls unless you overrule him with your own formation, line-up and substitutions. A stats engine processes over a thousand decisions per game, and 3D club areas and match highlights show the results.

The 2022 edition lists a long run of additions: an improved 3D environment, new staff roles and staff attributes, manager interaction, transfer negotiations, squad numbers, formations, extra player stats such as pace, crossing and preferred foot, a scout hub, a Team of the Week, international squad views, diary planning and training, and updated player, club and staff data for the 21/22 season.
