What is Papa's Freezeria To Go?

The game comes from Flipline Studios, the creators of the Papa Louie series, and the App Store lists it as Papa's Freezeria To Go! under Games. It is a version of the original Papa's Freezeria rebuilt around touch input on iPhone and iPod Touch. You start a relaxing summer job at an ice cream shop by the sea, and then every customer of Papa Louie turns up on the island at once.

Each order moves through four stations that you hop between. At the Order Station you watch the lobby and take tickets. The Build Station is where ice cream and mixables go into the cup, and the Mix Station is for blending the sundae until it is just right. Finally, the Top Station adds whipped cream and toppings before the dish goes to a demanding customer. Every station is hands-on, and each step is done by dragging, swiping or tapping.

Good work pays off in points and levels. A higher level adds new toppings to the shop and new customers to the queue, while well-made sundaes earn tips that buy upgrades and decorations for the lobby. The To Go edition adjusts the layout for small screens: stations switch with buttons in the corners, the Pour Button and Bonus Meter sit at the side where a thumb can reach them, and the mixable and syrup menus fill the whole screen with large buttons.
