About the game

The package inside the IPA is named Heroes and Gear? Yoink!, while the previous listing and the page address call the game Noob Lord. Both names point to the same fantasy RPG, whose joke is built into the title: you play a clueless rookie Lord who somehow owns a legendary Holy Sword. The Lord is inexperienced, but the sword is extraordinary, and it lets you take on challenges that look far too big for a beginner.

You are not alone. A team of veteran demon-slayers travels with the Lord, and each hero has quirks and flaws that make the party charming rather than polished. The classes include the Knight, the Wizard and the Archer, and the way their skills complement each other is where much of the strategy lives. The story pushes you to rise from novice Lord to the realm's Emperor through a throne war with its own alliances and rivalries.

Growth comes in several layers. Raid bosses are massive challenges that need skill and teamwork, adorable Divine Beasts can be raised alongside your heroes to add strength and options, and equipment keeps improving so harder enemies stay beatable.
