Kotodaman: Word Battle RPG is a Japanese word-building RPG from XFLAG with more than six million players. Download the Kotodaman IPA for iPhone and attack by spelling — slot characters together to form real Japanese words, and the word you build is the hit you land.

Longer and rarer words hit harder, so deck building is as much about which characters carry which syllables as it is about raw stats. Play solo through the campaign or team up with up to three others in multiplayer, and expect frequent crossover events with anime and manga properties. Plenty of players use it as genuine vocabulary practice rather than a straight gacha grind.
