About Idle Tap Zoo

The game is developed by Tech Tree Games LLC and has been in the App Store since May 2018, in Games under Simulation. It is an idle clicker where animals are the product: you raise them, upgrade them so they breed faster and are worth more, and sell them to fund the park. The animal roster grows as the zoo does, with monkeys, pandas, gorillas and lions on the way.

The business side is about attracting people. Small additions such as bathrooms and food stalls bring in more visitors, more visitors mean more money, and later you can add aquariums and safari rides. Animal numbers depend on birth and death rates, and each species needs its food, like bananas for the primates and bamboo for the pandas. Surplus animals go to the trading post in large batches and come back as gems, which pay for research into permanent boosts. Layout is yours too: you can shape a jungle corner for the monkeys and gorillas, plant a bamboo forest for the tigers and pandas, and decorate with rides. Because it is an idle game, income keeps arriving while you are away from the screen.
