About Idle Iktah

Idle Iktah is an incremental game made by Grounded Games and filed in the App Store under Games with Simulation and Adventure tags. It is set in a fictionalized Pacific Northwest, and you begin with no resources at all. From there you work through quests, collect rewards and decide which direction your character takes.

The recent release notes show how much bookkeeping is hidden in this seemingly simple genre. The developer has been adding an inventory that can show where an item is used in recipes, a Sell option replacing Delete when possible, labels on inventory buttons, enchant icons on saved outfits, a Kopi Challenge with rewards and a Legacy preview. Journal entries, crafting sounds and an equipment grid also got fixes. All of this points to a game built around crafting, collecting and long-term planning rather than quick taps.

Idle titles reward patience, and this one stretches over long sessions: you plan a legacy, craft items and come back to see what the numbers have built in the meantime.

Good to know before you install

Per the changelog, the build works on both iPhone and iPad. You will need an iOSGods account to run this build. The official game is free, rated 9+, and needs iOS 15.0 or later. It first reached the store in autumn 2023, and the notes of the latest update also mention translation fixes and a performance improvement.
