About Golf Dreams

The game is made by Golf Dreams AB and has been in the App Store since April 2021, in the Games section under Sports and Simulation. Its selling point is control: you shape draws and fades, and can swing, chip, flop, punch, putt and drive around courses inspired by real-world layouts, where rough, bunkers and water hazards punish a loose shot. Wind affects the ball, and a ball tracer shows in detail how each strike left the club. The tone is relaxed: courses are modelled on well-known layouts around the world and come with ambient sound such as birdsong, so a round feels closer to a calm afternoon than to an arcade race.

There are several ways to play. Solo Tournaments form the career path, where prizes bring new clubs that you then upgrade. A weekly league adds a regular competition, mini golf tournaments play over six quick holes, and PvP matches let you play against a friend or random opponent without waiting, because the other player takes their round whenever it suits them.

Version and requirements

The changelog for this build lists exactly these unlocks. The App Store release is free, needs iOS 15.0 or later and has a 4+ age rating. Its latest notes mention a fix to Game Center account creation, a fix so the chest opens on the Continue button again and a few small tweaks. Because the clubs and courses are open, the part left to you is the swing itself: timing, wind and the choice of shot. Unlocking every club also skips the prize chase that normally supplies them, since in the original they are won in tournaments and then upgraded.
