The developer is Synthetic Mind AB, and the App Store files the game under Games, in the Action genre. You steer an aircraft over a battlefield, hit enemy soldiers, tanks, helicopters and other planes, and move on to the next level once the area is cleared. The terrain is destructible, and the developer compares that feel to the old artillery games Worms and Scorched Earth, so your bombs reshape the ground you are flying over.

Between missions the plane gets stronger. Power-ups collected in the air give a temporary boost, and upgrades bought between levels raise performance and firepower. The newer skill tree lets you shape your build around the abilities you like, while wingmen fly beside you and allied ground troops add support from below. Maps are randomly generated, so levels do not repeat, and difficulty rises as you progress.

There is also a rogue-like mode. You have to survive three levels in a row to save your progress, and the upgrades you pick are kept from level to level, which turns every run into a small gamble. The game shows no ads that cover the screen, and it does not need an internet connection, so it is fine for a flight or a commute.
