What is Meow Kingdom?

Meow Kingdom is an idle RPG with a town-building twist, made by Fathermade and listed in the App Store as Meow kingdom: cute cat idle rpg, under Games with Roleplaying, Casual and Entertainment tags. You join three cat mercenaries on an adventure through a town full of cuddly cats.

The structure has two halves. The first is combat: you build a party out of the cats you collect, and each one has a role, so positioning tanks and healers well directly shapes the flow of battle. Fights are meant to be easy to follow and quick to start rather than demanding constant input. The second half is rebuilding. The bosses you meet are toys, and when you beat them you bring the spoils back to your village, clear the chapter and watch the town grow.

Because the genre is idle, the game keeps progressing in the background and you return to collect rewards, then decide which new cat to place in which slot. Frontline cats soak up hits, while healers keep the group alive, so even a relaxed game rewards a little thought about the party composition.

The store page sells it on three points: lovable cat heroes, a visible sense of town progress and simple battles with some team strategy.

Version and requirements

The App Store edition is free, rated 9+, needs iOS 15.0 or later and first appeared in March 2025. Its latest note lists a new cat, new package items and a new event, so the game keeps receiving content.
