What is Archer Hunter?

The App Store lists the game as Archer Hunter: Roguelike Game by Suga Pte. Ltd., in Games with Adventure and Action tags. It has been available since January 2021. You play an archer who starts as a beginner and grows into a master of the bow while a wave of evil forces advances through the land.

Movement and shooting are handled with a single finger. You push through dungeons, dodge incoming attacks and shoot, collecting experience points that level you up and teach new skills. Enemies range from skeletons and golems to slimes, goblins, ogres and werewolves, and each has its own attack pattern, so the same corridor plays differently depending on who is in it.

Loot drives the long-term progress. Dungeons drop weapons, armour, amulets and other gear that you equip and upgrade, and extra heroes with different fighting styles can be recruited later. An AFK reward system pays out coins and items while you are away from the game, which suits short sessions on a phone.
