The world of Pangea Odyssey

The setting is the continent of Pangea, whose history is framed by two prophecies. In the first, a Demon King is born out of raging flames and threatens to overturn the world with malevolent fire. In the second, a Goddess of Abundance rises from vast waters, scatters life and brings the continent into being.

The plot revolves around Magick Mountain, where a spring waterfall called the Source of Magic holds legendary power. Lilith becomes queen, and many believe she is the Demon King foretold in the legend and that she hunts the same Source. Then fate takes a turn: the male lead comes to possess it, and several characters set out to take that power for themselves. The story follows how the bonds between these people change as a result.

The game is voiced by professional actors, and the developer describes its script as provocative. Additional storylines open up as you progress, adding depth to the main journey rather than replacing it.

How the battles work

Combat is about preparation more than reflexes. You assemble a team from the available characters, weigh their skills against each other and set a formation before sending them into fights with groups of monsters. Gear gathered along the way makes the team stronger, which in turn lets you handle harder encounters.
